Aquamarine
Pendulum
Touchably
shaped gemstone beads of aquamarine in an intriguing semi-opaque
green-aqua shade adorn the strand suspending this traditional
pendulum. Aquamarine is a stone of mutuality and is sometimes worn
to ensure happy marriages. A positive sense of harmony and trust can
be elicited by the gemstone. It is considered a lucky stone for
sailors and travelers and is also sometimes associated with the
seductive and charismatic energies of Scorpio, though this is
tempered by its basically sympathetic vibrations.
The
stone is accented with silver and with crystals of coordinating
color. Small glass beads are planned to numerologically harmonize
the strand. Opposite the faceted pendulum hang a graceful white
tassel and a wise silver crescent moon containing a faceted aqua
crystal gem. This pendulum is an excellent piece for water-related
divinations and will serve well for considering interpersonal
relationships.
Pendulums
are employed in meditation and divination both for asking your
subconscious wisdom for answers, and for determining what the right
questions are. Similar techniques appear in hundreds of folk
traditions used for purposes ranging from dowsing for water, to
predicting the sex of a child, to diagnosing ones own subconscious
anxieties to ease bad dreams. Experiment with your pendulum to
discover how your own spiritual environment affects its movement,
letting you make full use of this simple and powerful divinatory
tool.
These
pendulums are designed and handmade by Marlaina Kline of The Spirit
Within. Marlaina has been a creative artist all her life and works
in several media, but the common thread in all her work is her love
of color. When she was introduced to stone energies, she immediately
felt at home with the practice. At once she began to combine her new
knowledge of stones and crystals with her passion for vibrant
combinations of hues. She joins the gifts of the Earth in ways
guided by the stones themselves their color, their beautiful
form, and their magickal resonance handcrafting gifts of
spiritual meaning that carry with them a sense of the creative joy
she feels while she beads them. Each pendulum comes in a recycled
paper gift box with an information card explaining its significance
and use; each is both a tool and a work of hand-beaded art.
