Many people are selling Omani Frankincense labelled Boswellia sacra without even knowing it is most imported from Somalia and then mixed in with the low volume of true B.Sacra grown in Oman (Yemen). There are a variety of species of true Frankincense and each has it own aroma and uses. We stock verifiable B.Carterii, B.Frereana, B.Papyrifera, all of which is comparable in quality ( and possibly better) than Omani labelled frankincense. Of course it was this (Somalian and Ethopian Frankincense) that was burnt in large quantities in all the ancient temples of Egypt, East Africa and the Arabian lands.
