 Joseph has been a reiki practioner since May 1998; this is when he received his first-degree training. The following year in May of 1999 he received his second-degree training and began providing Reiki as a therapist at the Aliveness Project in Minneapolis, MN. He later on became the first elected African American male to become President of the membership advisory committee with the Aliveness Project.
He has many reiki clients with whom he gives Reiki sessions to in his home, in the client's home or through distance healing sessions. He is currently working on his own office space. He has been trained in the ART (Advanced Reiki Training) and became a Master/Teacher in May of 2009.
Joseph has mainly been working with clients who have been diagnosed with cancer and HIV/AIDS. These are people who are drawn to this form of energy work. Helping to unblock or re – energize stagnant Chakras is what draws people to this healing process.
