The meaning behind our logo and colors

In the search for a logo to represent what Keys of Paradise is about and lend power and mystery to our work, we finally decided upon the Ouroboros. It is a wonderful symbol coming from the kaballistic background of our spiritual healer. Many people within our communities have asked about the symbolism and meaning with most thinking of the Serpent of Paradise. In a way, it is the Serpent of Paradise transformed, but not the usually negative representation of the lying serpent who beguiles the symbolic Eve of the biblical creation mystery.

In simplistic language our logo represents the eternal interplay between wisdom (Chokma on the Tree of Life) and understanding (Binah on the Tree of Life). This is represented by the snake biting its own tail, pinned to the eternal source of knowledge represented by crossed keys.

It evokes the yearning of King Solomon, the biblical archetype of the wise king of Israel, in that we represent the path to wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The serpent biting its tail can be likened to the "heavens" (pure thought) in its connection to the "earth" (manifested thought or communication).

The intricate gold key is the gateway to heaven (wisdom, God's domain, spirituality, absolute bliss), while the plain iron key is the gateway to the world which is immovable, simple and not as highly regarded as the gold one. This represents material attributes and understanding. It is through the material attributes (letters, words and numbers) or communication that the universe manifests God. We are always concerned with these material attributes on the lower plane. Our minds find it hard to think without mentally making up a form, so this is the representation of the physical realm.

Keys of Paradise colours are green, blue and gold. For us these colours represent prosperity (life), covenant (love), and honour (happiness) respectively.

The colour green, to us, represents healing and the planetary influence of Venus. The colour blue invokes healing as well, and feeds into the planetary influences of Jupiter and the Moon. The colour gold is a shade of yellow that represents the spheres of the Sun and the solar propensity for healing and prosperity.

Together these colours sum up both the desired effects of our service and our own personal planetary and zodiacal influences. We offer you a part of us through the use of these colours.

We offer products, services and information which may lead to mastery of the physical and spiritual realms. The keys unlock the door which is enclosed by the Ouroboros and lead to the ultimate bliss and full communion with the spiritual world.

As with everything else, it is up to the devotee to take that step to unlock the personal door of their reality. Though each person has a different reality, there is a common law in the universe that runs through all these seemingly different realities. That thread is defined by the wisdom/understanding interplay which allows us to utilise the ever existent knowledge of the universe.
